This project was special, as we had to design and implement a structure that met the very specific needs of the client. In order to achieve the highest possible through-passing capacity, the steel fire doors were designed with a much wider than average width. This meant that the door sashes weight more than 250 kg and, in addition, they have to be able to open fully backwards (180°) to ensure accessibility. In the event of a fire alarm, the doors are closed by special devices we have installed.
The automatic doors were also specially designed for this project. A touch-free button behind the doors makes the opaque glass in the sash transparent, allowing visiting parents to see into the newborn observation area.
The customer's vision was realised using state-of-the-art technology and unique, tailor-made solutions.
