The client's request was to install customised glass doors behind the building's large oak gates, which would ensure perfect thermal insulation of the building.

A major technical challenge was that the door leaves, each weighing 185 kilograms, are 3.2 metres high, but only a 2 metre high wall section was available for mounting the door hinges.

The large curved door leaves, designed and manufactured by us, follow the shape of the wall opening precisely and, thanks to their fine adjustment, close perfectly in the middle. The building now has modern thermal insulation, but has not lost any of its historic charm.
