Aluminum and steel doors and windows

The Turracher Höhe plateau lies between Carinthia and Styria, in the idyllic setting of three mountain lakes. This alpine gem offers great recreational opportunities for skiers in winter and hikers and mountaineers in summer.

The exclusive Silbersee Hotel was built here, and our company was commissioned to design, manufacture and install the aluminium front portals and fire-resistant interior doors. Following an on-site survey, the structural plans were drawn up at our premises. This is where years of experience and reliable professional contacts proved their worth.

The three-layer thermal insulating safety glass panels were manufactured in Hungary (at an altitude of 107 metres above sea level) but installed in Austria at an altitude of 1,795 metres. However, the change in altitude would have meant that the glass panels would not have been able to cope with the loss of volume of the air between the layers and would have cracked.

Special compensating valves were therefore incorporated into the edge seals during manufacture, which allowed the glass panels to adapt "intelligently" to the alpine environment. As a result, these glass panels and our anthracite fire doors are now an integral part of the hotel's modern interior and exterior spaces.
